COVID-19 RULES

We pride ourselves as a COVID-safe business that operates in line with the current government mandated restrictions.

We ask our guests to comply with these regulations to ensure that everyone will have a good time. Non-compliance may result in losing your booking and being asked to leave the premises.

IDENTIFICATION

Please note, if you wish to purchase alcohol or be in a licensed area of our venues you will need to have a valid form of ID. You will also need a valid ID to enter or be in our venues after 5pm. If you are acting as a responsible adult you will also need to have your ID on you. If you are over 18 bring your ID along to make sure you aren’t disappointed. See below for the forms of identification that are accepted in each state.
 

VALID FORMS OF IDENTIFICATION

NSW

We accept driver or rider licences and permits issued within Australia or any foreign country, Australian and International passports, NSW photo cards, International Drivers licence with Photo and birth date, proof of age cards and Keypass identity cards. Foreign types of ID need to be scannable documents for our Darlinghurst venue due to Kings Cross Liquor Licensing restrictions and patron scanners in place.

QLD

We accept driver or rider licences and permits issued within Australia, Australian and International passports, QLD photo cards, proof of age cards and Keypass identity cards. A foreign driver's licence may be accepted as evidence of age provided it has a photo and the licence holder's date of birth. If the licence is not written in English, the licence holder should present an international driver permit issued in the foreign country of origin (and including a photo of the licence holder and translation) with their foreign driver licence.

VIC & WA

We accept driver or rider licences and permits issued within Australia, Australian and International passports, proof of age cards and Keypass identity cards.

 

SA

We accept driver or rider licences and learner permits issued within Australia, Australian and International passports, proof of age cards and Keypass identity cards.

MINORS

We welcome minors and under 18's in our venues before a certain time, this varies per venue so please see below:

VIC

Holey Moley Crown does not allow minors or under 18's in the venue after 8pm. Unaccompanied minors are permitted entry to the venue prior to 3pm. Between 3pm and 8pm minors or under 18's MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Holey Moley Melbourne CBD (Little Bourke Street) does not allow minors or under 18’s in the venue after 5pm. Due to our liquor licence requirements, minors attending the venue prior to 5pm MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Please note at Holey Moley Bayside and Eastland venues we do not allow minors or under 18's in our venues after 8pm. While unaccompanied minors and under 18’s are permitted, we request that pre-teens and younger children are accompanied by a responsible adult.

Due to our liquor licence requirements, unaccompanied minors may not be allowed into licensed areas of our venues. This can sometimes include our activities and entertainment areas.

 

NSW

At Holey Moley Newtown we do not allow minors or under 18's in this venue after 5pm. Due to liquor licence requirements, we have a strict policy at Newtown that all minors or under 18’s must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

At our Darlinghurst venue we do not allow minors or under 18’s after 5pm. Due to our liquor licence requirements, we have a strict policy that all minors or under 18s must be accompanied by their own responsible adult at all times.

Please note that at Holey Moley Bakehouse Quarter, Castle Towers, Charlestown, and Wollongong we do not allow minors or under 18's in these venues after 8pm.
While unaccompanied minors and under 18’s are permitted at Bakehouse Quarter, Castle Towers, Charlestown, and Wollongong venues prior to the 8pm, we request that pre-teens and younger children are accompanied by a responsible adult.

At Holey Moley Chatswood, we do not allow minors or under 18's after 9pm.
While unaccompanied minors and under 18’s are permitted at Chatswood venue prior to 9pm, we request that pre-teens and younger children are accompanied by a responsible adult.

 

QLD

At our Holey Moley Fortitude Valley venue we do not allow minors or under 18's in the venue after 5pm. Due to liquor licence requirements we have a strict policy at Fortitude Valley that all minors or under 18’s must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

Please note at our Wintergarden and Surfers Paradise venues we do not allow minors or under 18's after 8pm. While unaccompanied minors and under 18’s are permitted at these QLD venues prior to the listed times, pre-teens and younger children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

At our Sunshine Coast (Maroochydore) venue we do not allow minors or under 18's in our venues after 9pm. While unaccompanied minors and under 18’s are permitted at Sunshine Coast (Maroochydore) prior to 9pm, we request that pre-teens and younger children are accompanied by a responsible adult.


WA

At our Northbridge venue we do not allow minors or under 18's in this venue after 5pm. Due to liquor licence requirements, we have a strict policy at Northbridge that all minors or under 18’s must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

Please note at Holey Moley Carousel we do not allow minors or under 18's in our venues after 8pm. Due to our liquor licence requirements, unaccompanied minors won’t be allowed into licensed areas at Carousel which includes the outdoor terrace and adjoining bar and seating area. While unaccompanied minors and under 18’s are permitted at Carousel prior to the 8pm, we request that pre-teens and younger children are accompanied by a responsible adult.


SA

At our Holey Moley Adelaide venue we do not allow minors or under 18's in this venue after 5pm. Due to liquor licence requirements, we have a strict policy in Adelaide that all minors or under 18’s must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

FAIR PLAY POLICY

A fair play policy applies to any promotion where an unlimited play component is offered. It makes sure all patrons get a fair attempt at the various activities and some people may be asked to move on to play another activity to ensure fairness. Further details about each offer can be found on promotional material in venue and from venue staff. Available for walk-in customers only.

The manager on duty reserves the right to allocate patrons to activities. All activities are not necessarily included in every promotion - please clarify with staff at time of purchase. Unlimited Play promotions are only valid on the day of purchase. All offers are subject to varying finish times - please clarify with staff at time of purchase

The Policy

  • Mini Golf: 18 Holes guaranteed, then subject to availability
  • Karaoke: subject to availability and allotted in 30min segments
  • Bowling: 1 game guaranteed, then subject to availability
  • Laser Tag: 1 game guaranteed, then subject to availability
  • Pool: subject to availability
  • Escape Rooms: not currently available with any promotional nights or offers.

GENERAL ENTERTAINMENT

  • Discrimnation or violence of any kind will not be tolerated when in our venue.
  • Inappropriate behaviour, disorderly conduct, aggression, intoxication, or other disruptive behaviour, may result in refusal of service, refusal of entry or being ejected from the venue.
  • When in the venue, all children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. Children under the age of 13 are only allowed in the venue, with a responsible adult. Curfews apply and liquor laws for minors come into play.
  • Children can complete all activities in our venues at the discretion of their responsible Parent or Guardian. However, a parent or guardian could be required to accompany, supervise or assist with play.
  • No running, climbing, or tom foolery in the venue. We want all of our guests to have fun and enjoy the space. Be respectful and treat others the way you would like to be treated.
  • Guests need to comply with relevant state laws & guidelines for the consumption of alcoholic beverages.
  • No external food or drink is allowed in the venue, excluding the service of a birthday cake subject to individual venue policy. Check the FAQs at the bottom of your location page.
  • Guests need to follow the direction of the staff in the venue. Failure to do so may result in you being asked to leave.
  • If you are running late to a booking, we cannot guarantee you will be able to finish your bookied activity and may have it finished early, or rescheduled.
  • Our venues look great and we often want to share it on our socials. Any photographs, videos, recordings or other media taken in the venue must be for personal use only. If you want to use or produce for commercial purposes it must be with prior written permission from the Funlab team.

ACTIVITY RULES

Mini Golf

  • When on the course and playing; six shots per person per hole. Any more and you are embarrassing yourself anyhow.
  • If your ball is stuck against a wall or object, you can shuffle it a putter head away.
  • Wait until your mate finishes their turn before starting yours. Manners, please.
  • Out of bounds? Back to the start!
  • We know drinking is fun, but sometimes people get carried away. if you are being too rowdy, you will be asked to leave.
  • Do not swing your putter. keep it low! It's mini golf, not the driving range.
  • Do not take your putter to the bathrooms, nobody needs a wet putter!
  • Putters should only touch golf balls. Please do not use your golf club to hit props, people or other things.
  • Please do not hit the ball when it rebounds, please wait for it to stop moving before playing on.
  • Please do not climb on anything, you are not a mountain goat.
  • Don’t punch your friends, or anyone really. Need we explain?

Arcade

  • Arcade games are suitable for all people, however parents may need to assist their little ones and should look at individual game recommended playing age. A reminder all minors need to be under adult supervision at all times.
  • Rechargeable Cards - may not be redeemed for cash. Any resale or transfer of the card will render it void. All sales are final and any unused portion is not refundable. Funlab is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged cards. Is only redeemable for arcade play and cannot be used for alternate purchases such as food, beverage or merchandise. Bonus loads are not transferable or able to be split to multiple cards. Are valid for 12 months from last purchase.
  • Timeplay Cards - are limited to one card per person. All games should be played within the allotted time. Some arcades are not playable under timeplay.
  • All games should be played in the intended manner and game instructions followed.
  • Be aware, some games and attractions have additional specific requirements including Laser Tag, XD Thrill Ride, Dodgem Cars and Virtual Reality.
  • Our Venues are Insta worthy however any photos, videos or recordings taken in the venue should only be for personal use. Any commercial shoots need to be arranged with management.
  • We accept no responsibility for any personal property that is brought to a Strike venue
  • For the safety of all guests, any games machine misuse or deliberately not following staff directions on attractions may result in you being asked to leave.

Bowling

  • Do not step over or proceed past the foul line at any time. (That’s the massive black line at the start of the lane if you didn’t know)
  • Do not bowl more than one ball down the lane at any time. Only one guest bowling at a time.
  •  We insist and offer our Strike bowling shoes as part of the experience. To ensure you look good on the lanes and to assist with your bowling action. (Stilettos look hot but not practical). If you cannot wear our bowling shoes speak to our Strikers for more information.
  • Strike bowling shoes must not be worn outside. (This is technically stealing)
  • Do not place your hands inside the ball return (unless you have fully insured them beforehand)
  • We allow 6 people per lane. For groups more than 6 we can split across 2 adjacent lanes.
  • Any lane faults must be reported to reception. (Just because your mother says you're technical doesn’t mean it’s true)
  • While a fault is being attended to, no balls are to be sent down the lane Management reserves the right to refuse lanes to patrons.
  • For the safety of all guests, any lane misuse will result in games being immediately suspended.

Laser Tag

  • We recommend all personal belongings such as keys, wallets, phones etc are left outside of the arena. We suggest using one of the lockers.
  • No Running.
  • No Climbing on or touching props.
  • Stay within the boundaries of the arena.
  • The phaser should not be used to hit, push or harm another guest or props.
  • Misuse may result in the deactivation of your laser vest and being removed from the game.
  • No Food or drink can be taken in the arena or armoury.

Darts

  • A credit card MUST be provided and held for the duration the Oche is held to cover incidentals (darts, props, equipment)
  • All guests must remain behind the foul line.
  • One player throwing at a time, and one dart at a time.
  • Darts are to be thrown at the dart board only.
  • Collect your own darts once finished your turn and hand over to the next player.

Karaoke

  • A credit card MUST be provided and held for the duration of the karaoke experience to cover incidentals (props, equipment).
  • No Mic drops! Guests are responsible for any damages in the Karaoke room, including equipment and furniture.
  • We accept no responsibility for any personal property that is brought to the venue.

Escape rooms

  • A credit card MUST be provided and held for the duration of the karaoke experience to cover incidentals (props, equipment).
  • No phones or similar electronic devices are allowed inside the room. These will be safely locked away while you’re playing. Google does not know the answers so will just distract you and we also dont want images online spoiling the experience for other guests.
  • You may take other items such as keys and wallets inside the room. But we recommend locking them away as well as they will not help you and may distract you.
  • Unfortunately, no Alcohol or other drinks are to be taken into the room.
  • You will find a blue illuminated button in each room. These are not part of the game. In the event that you need to leave the room, press this button and it will unlock the door to escape. Be aware that improper use of these buttons will ruin your game experience.
  • There are no clues above shoulder height. Please don’t unscrew light bulbs or play with the fire sprinklers or the cameras.
  • Don’t try and force anything open - 2 fingers of force is all that is required. There are some delicate puzzles inside the room. Everything that is supposed to move, will do so freely. By entering our Escape Rooms, your team agrees that you will be charged for any wilful damage caused by aggressive behaviour or miss-handling of clues.
  • Everything that you find in the room, needs to stay inside the room. The Game Master will get you to leave everything for the game in the game at the end of your challenge. They will also do a quick reset of the room in case things have accidentally ended up in your pockets.

Responsible Adult

A responsible adult is defined as a person who is over the age of 25 years and is:

  • a parent, step-parent or guardian of the minor
  • the minor’s spouse or de facto partner
  • an adult who has 'parental rights, duties and responsibilities' in relation to the minor for the time being, standing in as the parent of the minor e.g. Grandparents, aunt/uncle, or person in charge of an organised sporting group or school group.

They must also have a valid ID on their person for the duration of the visit.

CROWN REWARDS

Holey Moley Crown Melbourne is equipped with Crown Rewards Terminals. Points can be added to your Crown Rewards card for all purchases made in our venue at the time of purchase only, in line with Crown Rewards rules and conditions.


Pre-booked activities, including online bookings and functions, can be added to your Crown Rewards card, but this must be completed during your scheduled visit. Please make Holey Moley staff aware that you wish to complete a Crown Rewards transaction when you arrive at the venue.
